- Three men who stabbed Ryan O’Connor to death in Newport last year have been jailed. Ryan was stabbed 5 times as he was robbed for his Gucci bag.
- Roula Pispirigou - the Greek woman arrested on suspicion of murdering her 9-year-old daughter whilst she was in hospital has been charged. Tests revealed the child had been injected with a lethal dose of ketamine shortly before her death. Police are also investigating the deaths of her other 2 children, a 3-year-old girl and a 6-month-old girl.
